Synopsis
Nokia Web Run-Time opens up a new world of mobile application development to developers already familiar with the basic building blocks of the Web. In this session, you will learn about how the same web standards such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will allow you to create widgets for smartphone handsets. The Nokia Web Run-Time, based on the feature-packed WebKit rendering engine, will power a new generation of mobile widgets on the S60 mobile platform.
In this session, Nokia will break down widgets into their basic parts and introduce ways to test widgets and add advanced functionality using its newly released SDK for S60 Third Edition, Feature Pack 2.
