Wai Seto

Seto, Wai has more than 11 years experience in computer networking and mobile communications industry, and currently serves as Senior Technology Expert for Nokia. Mr. Seto is responsible for handling technical questions from software developers, industry analysts and business partners who are interested in Nokia Mobile Platforms.

Mr. Seto joined Nokia in 1999. He has held several positions including Senior Software Engineer and Software Architect. At Nokia Mr. Seto was instrumental in developing the first S60 imaging phone's WAP browser software, facilitating the development of various S60 products, and designing software architecture for CDMA products.

Prior to Nokia Mr. Seto worked in an Internet security consultancy firm which facilitated various private and government agencies in the implementation of network security infrastructures. Mr. Seto had also implemented various security related network protocols while he was working at Digital Equipment Corporation.

Mr. Seto earned a Master of Computer Science from Boston University and Bachelor of Computer System Engineering from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
