Ian Kennedy
Bio
Ian joined Yahoo! two years ago and has worked with Yahoo!'s Publisher Network and Corporate development group. He currently is product manager at MyBlogLog, a company Yahoo! acquired in January 2007.
Prior to Yahoo!, Ian was Director of Sales and Partner Development at Six Apart where he helped establish the TypePad business class program and Movable Type's Hosting Partner program.
Ian has also worked at Factiva, a Dow Jones and Reuters joint venture where he held roles in Product Management, Business Development, and North Asian Sales Director based in Tokyo, Japan where he lived for 10 years.
He is the founder and original webmaster of one of the web's longest running weekly city guide sites, Tokyo Q, an English city guide for visitors and residents of Tokyo.
Ian earned a B.A. at the University of California at Berkeley. He currently lives in the San Francisco area with his wife and two children.
